Coorg or Kodagu |

Coorg or Kodagu is the
south-western district of Karnataka bordering Kerala. It
is situated on the western mountainous region of South
India. It has an area of 1595 square miles or 4102.3 sq.
km with a population of 4,85,299 as per the 1991 census.
In relative terms, Coorg is four times larger than Hong
Kong, and seven times larger than Singapore. |

July: Monsoons

September is pleasant, by mid October north east
winds strong and cold is here carrying clouds
which come drenching south east Coorg.
November till mid December, after that the
