Trucked away from the usual travel brochure.  A scenic place to script your own travelogue.    A cottage cradled in the arms of nature - Vana - Arathi.  This small haven is unknown to the demanding tourist a species simply unwelcome in these environs.   Instead we attract a select few who enjoy being with nature, who would love to hear the wind sing. 

The Vana-Arathi lies in a quiet corner of a coffee estate, close to the famous Nagerhole forest.A two-room cottage, Vana-Arathi is provided with modern amenities and unobtrusive service.  To reach Nanchi, drive from Bangalore or Mysore towards Veeranahossalli and continue towards Nagerhole. 

You'll find Vana-Arathi ahead, bordering Nagerhole.  Let's make finding the location a little easier.  Drive out from Nagerhole at the Coorg end (Kodagu, as it is known, to all the people here) and turn right, follow the road to the Nanchi Estate.  For those who want a sign, you'll find it posted at the right-turn.
